2017 July World Games Poland
For this World Games only two NZ'ers won their Oceania divisions to qualify for the tournament in Wroclaw, Poland.
Amy Thomason in the -68kg female Kumite (FRK) and Andrea Anacan in the female Kata (SKANZ)
This tournament has 8 competitors in each division. Winner of the 5 continental tournaments, World Campionship finalists and 1 from the home country and sometimes wild card entries.
Two pools of 4 compete in a round robin, each having 3 bouts. The top two from the pools will meet for the semifinals. Unfortunately neither of our NZ competitors made it out of the pool stage but had some good performances.
