Oceania Senior Championships

A small Karate New Zealand team competed at the 2017 Senior Oceania Championships held in Sydney with Barney Gill of FRK competing in the -67kg Male Kumite division. Barney won Gold in his division which would prove to be the start of a winning weekend for him as he went on to become the first New Zealander to win both his weight division and the senior mens Open division at the Australian Open.
