1987 July 5 - 5 Jan 88 Japan Trip
10 days after his 21st Birthday sensei Duane heads to Japan for a 6 month training stint with Sugihara sensei. Living the first month with sensei Michael before moving to a Japanese homestay in Yokohama. The last few months were spent in Tammachi in Yokohama in a shared house with a squat toilet and only cold running water having to use the local Japanese bathhouse, definitely a Japanese experience.
